Champagne Brut Collection 244 - Louis Roederer

Louis Roederer Collection 246 is the most recent multi-vintage blend from the house, primarily based on the 2021 harvest.

It is described as a "delicate and vibrant" composition that captures the freshness of a challenging growing season, often compared to the character of a fine Blanc de Blancs.

• Aroma: A complex bouquet featuring ripe yellow fruits (mirabelle plum, nectarine) and candied citrus (lemon), supported by toasted hazelnut and subtle saline "seashell" notes.
• Palate: The attack is fruity (peach) with a silky, delicate texture and soft bubbles. It develops a chalky, mineral mid-palate and finishes with smoky, roasted energy from the reserve wines.
• Blend Details: It is composed of 54% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 11% Meunier. This version has a notably higher percentage of Chardonnay than previous collections to ensure precision and tension.
• Technical Composition: 55% comes from the 2021 harvest, 35% from the Perpetual Reserve(vintages 2012–2020), and 10% from oak-aged reserve wines
