Guérande salt is one of the highest quality salts in the world. With an unmistakable greyish colour, this salt comes from Guérande, the peninsula from which it receives its name and which is located on the Atlantic coast of the historic region of Brittany (France).It is a natural sea salt rich in mineral salts and trace elements, unrefined, without additives and dried in the sun.
The flour is ground by hand. Stone-ground flours are more nutritious and aromatic than those ground with industrial steel rollers and the dough rests for 12 hours and cooked slowly to preserve the nutrients and obtain an extra thin and crunchy cracker, but consistent at the same time.
