
Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
- Heat heavy cream, sugar, and the scraped vanilla bean in a saucepan over medium heat until hot (do not boil).
- Dissolve gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Remove cream mixture from heat and stir in gelatin until dissolved.
- Pour into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving Suggestion:
Top with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey before serving.
