Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions:

  1. Heat heavy cream, sugar, and the scraped vanilla bean in a saucepan over medium heat until hot (do not boil).
  2. Dissolve gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove cream mixture from heat and stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  4. Pour into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving Suggestion:

Top with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey before serving.
