Tropical Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained if using canned)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: shredded coconut, a slice of mango, or a sprig of mint

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Peel and dice 1 large mango.
  • If using fresh pineapple, chop it into small chunks. If using canned pineapple, drain the liquid.

2. Blend the Smoothie:

  • In a blender, combine the diced mango, 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup of orange juice, and 1 tbsp of honey (if desired).
  • Add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the blender for a chilled, creamy texture.

3. Blend Until Smooth:

  • Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of orange juice or coconut milk and blend again.

4. Serve:

  • Pour the smoothie into a tall glass.

5. Garnish (Optional):

  • Garnish with a sprinkle of shredded coconut, a slice of mango, or a sprig of mint for an elegant touch.
