Savory Cheese & Herb Puff Pastry Twists

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
  3. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, and thyme evenly over the pastry.
  4. Fold the pastry in half and gently press to seal. Cut into strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the twists with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve warm as a crispy, cheesy appetizer with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
