Savory Cheese & Herb Puff Pastry Twists
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, and thyme evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the pastry in half and gently press to seal. Cut into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the twists with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve warm as a crispy, cheesy appetizer with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
