Orange-Glazed Duck Breast

Ingredients:

  • 4 duck breasts
  • 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the duck breasts skin-side down until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and orange zest. Brush over the duck breasts.
  5. Transfer to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with roasted carrots and a drizzle of extra glaze.
